Ever wonder what your hair stylist uses in their hair or what that perfect 'salon hair' product they blowdry into your hair after a cut and colour is? Well, now you're one step closer...
We hit up the colleen crew to ask them what's at the top of their list for 2024; these are the products they use on the daily and the products we think are worthy of a spot in your bathroom cabinet at home.
We're wrapping the year with a list of heavy-hitting contenders for your best hair day yet.
HELENA - Davines Volume Boosting Mousse
My fav product of 2024 is definitely Davine’s Volume Boosting Mousse. I use it almost every day on my clients to aid me in producing long-lasting blowdries.
When you see the words volume and mousse together you automatically think big hair but this product delivers more than that. Volume equals hold, so that gives you the freedom to create smooth, curly or wavy styles. Mousse equals weightless longevity so it works on fine, medium or thick strands.
CAMILA - Davines More inside Wax Spray
My go-to is Davines More Inside Dry Wax Finishing Spray. It's perfect for adding texture or even getting rid of that halo of frizz that we all get sometimes.
SEAN - O&M Styling Tubs
I’m really loving the O&M Styling Paste, Pomade and Clay. Now that my hair is longer, I use them at home but also love using them on textured short to mid-length hair in the salon. For the best results, use on damp hair and diffuse dry them in.
PHILIPPA - Davines Heart of Glass range
My favourite products of 2024 have to be the Davines Heart Of Glass range. I love that the shampoo is brightening and not dulling for my blonde hair and my blonde clients. It softens the hair and helps it feel more silky. This range works great for both warm and cool blondes.
I use the Intense Treatment as a conditioner because it has a built-in bond complex that helps prevent breakage. I also use this as a treatment in my hair when I’m doing a slick back bun.
EVA - Davines Medium Hold Pliable Paste
My fav product is Davines Medium Hold Pliable Paste. I love using it on clients who have short pixie haircuts to medium-length hair. It gives a soft textured finish without feeling stiff and sticky.
A little bit goes a long way especially before (onto wet hair - to give body and hold) and after (dry styling and finishing) diffusing wavy to curly hair. Smells great too!
TARA - Christophe Robin Purifying Scrub
Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub has been on high rotation this year, I love that it provides a deep cleanse and exfoliation to scrub away product buildup and keep my scalp feeling super clean. I use it about once every 2/3 weeks, depending on how much styling product I've been using. It has a light, refreshing scent too.
SARA - Davines love Curl Cleansing Cream
I love LOVE / Curl Cleansing Cream by Davines. It deeply washes wavy to curly hair, gently cleaning the impurities off to leave my hair soft and shiny. I also love that it’s a shampoo and conditioner in one.
CLAUDIA - Kevin Murphy Everlasting Colour Range
I've been loving Kevin Murphy's Everlasting Colour range both at home and in the salon on my client's hair to shut down the cuticle and lock the colour in, all while protecting it and reducing damage. They are my go-to products for colour care and longevity.
